SILK SUZANI - PAISLEY VINE

Our beautiful Suzani are hand picked for their beauty and originality. Incredible works of art, each is individually handmade using silk thread, showing incredible skill and attention to detail.

Originating from nomadic tribes in Central Asia, Suzani have become highly valued for their fine craftsmanship.

Traditionally made by brides and their mothers as part of a dowry and presented to the groom on his wedding day, Suzani represented the joining of two families and are adorned with symbols of luck, health, long life and fertility, including pomegranates, tulips, irises and vines.

Suzani are wonderful hung flat on a wall, as upholstery for headboards and ottomans, or as a bedcover or sofa throw.
